Family Festival 2008

This year’s Family Festival, sponsored by the House Committee, was a great success. It was a great time to relax, chat with friends, and play with the children (and act like one too!). The food was delicious… with Ron and Ralph doing the cooking. Life doesn’t get much better than this!

A hot afternoon favorite is the water-filled balloon toss. The idea is to be the last one standing, with the balloon still filled. However, when the temps get up there and the skin of the balloon is thin, a soaking is welcomed. This years contestants were up to the challenge.

Afterwards, a came of skill, coordination and teamwork was next—the three-legged sack race. They came limping up to the starting line, letting their hair down and were off faster than the Camden April Colonial Cup horses... oooo the summer breezes.

And as in any outdoor activity, there were the barflys…. Having fun too
