Public Relations—Vickie Schermbeck

Camden Lugoff is starting up a public relations campaign.  Please give me anything of interest that may be publicized.  I am working on gathering media contacts, concentrating on the free postings in the newspapers and online media calendars.  The main goal at this time is to familiarize the public with the Elks and hopefully educate them on the charitable work that we do.  Hopefully the pictures that we took at the ENF BBQ (which was quite a success) will turn out well so that we may get them publicized!  Help me to get our name out by providing me with material!!

District Deputy’s Visit

At our September 9th business meeting, we were proud to have our District Deputy’s annual visit. Chuck Kormelink brought his team of auditors to review our past years Elk performance, looking at our charitable activities, membership growth, financial stability, secretary’s records, etc. Our lodge was given a clean ‘Bill of Health’. Pictured below is DD Kormelink and ER Linda Talbert.
